Karachi: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has received a huge response in its launch for the Pakistan Premier League (PPL) when many National and International cricketer showed interest in being a part of it.
The PCB has been very desperate to resume the International cricket arena in Pakistan and making full efforts to convince the teams in playing cricket in Pakistan. The Board under the Zaka Ashraf is very confident of holding the event this year.
Where as according to an official response it is stated that many International iconic Cricketers have showed interest in playing the tournament in Pakistan after this response PCB is very hopeful for the start of international cricket in Pakistan soil.
The officials added that they have got the positive response from the main stream international cricketer of different countries. Former Sri Lankan captain Sananth Jayasuriya agreed to play the league Former Australian legendary all rounder Andrew Symonds also agreed upon on playing this event. Brian Lara and Chris Gayle of the West Indies also showed interest in playing this event and they straight away without any delay can be part of it.
They have also promised to be the part of it whenever they are invited for playing the tournament. All though these players have retired but there participation will definitely convince the other players.
