Karachi: Pakistan Fashion Industry for the very first time likely to hold an exhibition in Indian capital New Delhi which will be held from 12-15 April, 2012.
Sidra Iqbal Spokesperson of Lifestyle Pakistan said that this program has been planned with the cooperation of Indian Commerce Ministry and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan it is all set to show the best and high quality products of Pakistan in fashion, textile, accessories, home furnishing, and other items on more then 300 stalls.
This would be a four day exhibition it is believe that it would attract 30,000 people flow in per day exhibition the visitors are likely to be from Indian trade Industry and different International buyers. Sidra said top 100 Pakistani firms would be taking part in it. Ace Pakistani fashion designers Deepak Perwani, Kamiar Rokni, Faiza Samee, Maheen Khan, Rizwan Beyg, Maria B and Nilofer Shahid will also participate.
Pakistani companies dealing in different branches of textiles home textiles, readymade garments, sportswear, handicrafts will display their products at Expo. These include companies Orient Textiles, Nishat Mills Ltd., Gul Ahmed Textiles (Pvt) Ltd., Bonanza Garments, AlKaram Textile Mills (Pvt) Ltd., Junaid Jamshed, Khaadi, Chen One, Eden Robe and Ensemble (Pvt) Ltd.
Where as Life style Pakistan believes that it is a strong chance to open its market in India which is definitely one of the largest consumer markets. The main objective is to make Indian people known about Pakistan high profile products. It could also be a chance for both the business communities to discuss the bilateral trade relations and their issues.
Trade development authority of Pakistan is going to arrange business visits and trips to be with life style Pakistan where many of the one will get a chance to bring more business.
