Karachi: English Cricket Club ‘lashing’ has approved and ready to send their team to Pakistan soil whereas English University team will tour Pakistan the next month. Club Chief David Folb has said that Pakistan Cricket Board has to make a quick decision about the visit.
Lashing eleven’s visit to Pakistan will play a vital role in bringing back the International cricket to Pakistan. Club Chief has expressed positive intentions for touring Pakistan and said that he wants to tour his team to Pakistan but in this regard Pakistan Cricket board has to plan a strategy as soon as possible because club’s schedule is quite busy that is starting from 24th April.
The club features world’s most prominent players of all time notably Wasim Akram, Sachin Tendulkar, Muralidharan, Brian Lara, Viv Richard and Allan Donald.
Director International cricket PCB Intikhab Alam and former Captain Rashid Latif viewing an expected denial of Bangladesh cricket Team touring Pakistan are holding talks with the English club, trying to bring the players on huge compensations to the home soil.
With the agreement, the club will play two One day matches in April. In addition, the British University team will also tour Pakistan the next month and play against PCB under 19 eleven at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The guest team will reach Lahore on 12th April and will stay till 18th April and will play two day matches on 14th and 16th April.
