The 6th International dates Exhibition is being held from 23rd to 24th August 2014 at Khairpur. The event is focused at providing local producers to exhibit their products and help gain attention from potential buyers. The event is being orgainsed by the Divisional Administration of Sukkur, Sindh.
The 6th international dates exhibition will be inaugurated by none other than the Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah.The event will feature a seminar on dates at 10 am on 23 August at the Sachal Auditorium near District Council Office Khairpur. The exhibition wil start after the seminar from 10 am to 9 pm on 23 and 24 August. The venue for the exhibition is the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Open Air Theatre near NADRA office Khairpur.
The event is sponsored by the Sindh Board of Investment and the Khairpur Special Economic Zone which is Pakistan’s first industrial park with SEZ status under the SEZ act of 2012. The event will help local producers showcase their work and the quality of dates in the country. Dates are widely used in Pakistan especially in the month of Ramazan and are also one of the exports of our country. The closing ceremony will feature Dr Nafisa Shah, member of National Assembly.
