Islamabad: Federal Board of Revenue has revealed that 3.1 million people in Pakistan out of a total of 50.49 Civilian Labor Force in thecountry are jobless. However, banking sector has played an effective role in creating jobs across the country.
A report said that a number of one Lac people have got employment in the banking sector. FBR has also informed that if the banks start to pay whole tax according to their required capacity then fiscal deficit and the increasing loans loadfacedbythe country could be tackled.
The report said that the ratio of tax for the corporate sector during the current year was decreased to 35 percent from 66 percent and its main objective was to raise the tax recovery but that fails to happen.
